FESTIVAL stages

MAIN STAGE

The main stage is a sacred space where people connect as one living organism with the music being the binding factor. As soon as you step onto it you can feel that you enter an energy that is an entity on its own.

The stage is situated right on the beach of a beautiful lake surrounded by forest. We kindly ask you to bring your purest of intentions to it.

Every day an organic trance band will kick off the journey into cosmic bliss that is then taken over by a vast range of international artists that we view as modern day shamans. A shaman’s role is to guide the participants on an inner journey of connecting with self, other people, nature and the entire cosmos as one.

Please respect this place as we invite shamans from around the world to set the energy for you days before the festival starts.

Applications

Applications are now open for the Sacred Island 2024! We’re seeking those with an important message to share on “Guardians of Gaia” — from yoga to workshops and everything in between.

Join us 17-21 July at our beautiful new home, Het Hulsbeek in Oldenzaal.

In these challenging times, we need inspiration and community more than ever. Come impart your wisdom on mindfulness, nature, art, and conscious living. Help us equip our guests to better care for our Earth and spread more light into this world.

FREAK FLOOR

When it boils down to it, the Freak Floor is a melting pot for freaky tunes, mostly Forest, Hitech, Psycore and Darkpsy. Like the last years we will focus here only on these genres.

We will put a lot of extra focus on this stage this year, creating a space where every psychonaut feels right at home. We upgraded the sound system, the decoration and size of the dance floor once again.

CHILL-OUT

Our Chill-out grows every year in size and effort into making it the right place to come to if you need some time to relax.

You can enjoy the view over the water, walk right into the forest where you will find many places to chill-out.

We offer a variety of great artists that will take you into outer space with their mellow style and mid-tempo beats. Sit back, relax, lie down in a hammock or sit by a campfire. The chill-out is built in a costume made temple, using bamboo and mostly natural materials, providing shelter and even a campfire in the middle of the dance floor.

4th FLOOR

The 4th floor showcases extended sets of various artists playing Psychedelic Techno and Zonon. This year we will put extra four on this stage in terms of Decor and program.

The 4th floor is located in a beautiful forest area. The perfect spot for some slower but psychedelic tunes

SACRED ISLAND

This beautiful and quiet island is where you will find our extensive learning programs, lectures, workshops, healing areas, ceremonies and cinema.

In cooperation with the Learning circle based in South Africa, we’ve invited many guest speakers, healers, Shamans and workshop hosts from all over the world to share their knowledge with you. Join in whenever you like.

Performances

Next to a great musical program there are many live performances all around the festival, theatre, fire-shows, live paintings, sand sculptures and acoustic performances. We don’t have a program for any of this, so just take a walk around and who knows what you will encounter 🙂
